International Experience Canada (IEC) gives Canadians aged 18–35 the opportunity to live, work, and travel in more than 35 countries and territories. With a work permit lasting up to two years, you can gain international experience, earn while you explore, and create unforgettable memories — even if you don’t have prior job experience.
IEC isn’t just about travel — it’s about growth, cultural exchange, and building connections that can last a lifetime. Whether you want to teach, work in hospitality, or take on an internship abroad, IEC makes it possible.

I think the best piece of advice I can give is to just do it. It can be intimidating at the start […], but if it’s something you’re interested in, I’d encourage you to talk to other people who have done it and to take that step, take that risk, because it will definitely be worth it!
